“Miss Camel”
At the most prestigious beauty contest in Saudi Arabia, each contestant has four legs and a humpback. Tens of thousands of camels participate in the Mazayen al-Ibl, an annual competition organized by the Kahatani tribe, specialists in camel breeding. The animals are judged based on strict criteria such as the shape of their nostrils, the roundness of their hump, and the length of their eyelashes.
