Just like traditional pageant contestants, each Barbie doll has a name, profession, and a unique personality. Doll owners spend hours preparing for the competition, often creating elaborate custom-made headpieces and dresses. Between rounds, they frantically change Barbie’s hairstyle and makeup and pose her limbs in fairytale positions.
